8:24 PM MDT Tuesday 28 May 2024 Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for: Co. of Forty Mile near Skiff Co. of Lethbridge near Coaldale Co. of Lethbridge near Picture Butte and Turin M.D. of Taber near Taber and Barnwell Co. of Warner near Raymond Stirling and New Dayton City of Lethbridge M.D. of Taber near Grassy Lake and Hwys 877 and 513 M.D. of Taber near Vauxhall and Hays Co. of Warner near Warner Co. of Warner near Wrentham At 8:24 PM MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts and pea to dime size hail. This cluster of severe thunderstorms is located from near Herronton to Warner and is moving to the northeast at 60 km/h. Wind gusts near 90 km/h have been reported with these storms. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.
