Brief Description Flash Flood Warning
Detailed Description FFWEWX The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for. Southeastern Atascosa County in south central Texas. Karnes County in south central Texas. Southwestern Wilson County in south central Texas. * Until noon CDT. * At 855 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE. Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT. Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Pleasanton, Jourdanton, Kenedy, Karnes City, Campbellton, Falls City, Cestohowa, Leming, Deweesville, Coy City, Fashing, Hobson, Peggy, El Oso, Zunkerville, Pana Maria, McCoy, Paweleville, Helena and Coughran.
