Brief Description RAINFALL WARNING
Detailed Description 8:49 PM EDT Thursday 8 August 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: Saint-Rémi area Heavy rainfall is forecast into Friday evening. Rainfall amounts of 50 to 80 millimetres are expected. Amounts could even reach 100 millimetres locally. This rain is caused by a low pressure system interacting with the moisture associated with tropical storm Debby. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
