Brief Description Hazardous Seas Warning
Detailed Description * WHAT. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous seas 11 to 16 ft at 14 seconds and south winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. For the Gale Warning, seas 11 to 16 ft at 14 seconds and south winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt expected. For the Small Craft Advisory, seas 10 to 15 ft at 12 seconds and south winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt expected. For the Storm Watch, seas 23 to 28 ft at 14 seconds and south winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 55 kt possible. * WHERE. Coastal waters from Cape Shoalwater WA to Cape Falcon OR out 10 NM. * WHEN. Hazardous Seas Warning, until 7 AM PST this morning. Gale Warning, from 7 AM this morning to 7 PM PST Sunday. Small Craft Advisory, from 7 PM Sunday to 10 AM PST Monday. Storm Watch, from Monday morning through late Monday night. * IMPACTS. Very strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
