Brief Description SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
Detailed Description 10:14 AM EDT Saturday 29 June 2024 Special Weather Statement in effect for: Temiskaming Shores - Temagami Significant rainfall continues today. Hazard: Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 45 mm. Locally higher amounts in thunderstorms are possible. Timing: Through this evening. Discussion: Showers, heavy at times, are expected to continue over parts of northeastern Ontario today. Embedded thunderstorms could give locally higher amounts. Showers will taper off this evening from west to east. For information concerning flooding, please consult your local Conservation Authority or Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry office. Visit Ontario.ca/floods for the latest details. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
