| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa. Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Clinton and Scott Counties. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring. * WHERE. Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S. * WHEN. Until Monday morning. * IMPACTS. At 11.5 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. Water affects homes along old U.S. Highway 61. At 12.0 feet, overbank flooding occurs. Water affects residences along the river between Wheatland and Calamus. Water affects businesses along the river near Calamus. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.5 feet and rising. - Recent Activity. The river is currently rising above the moderate flood stage. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.9 feet Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. |
