For the Mississippi River. including Cape Girardeau. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau. * WHEN. Until Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS. At 32.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs. The Mississippi River backs into several creeks producing flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 33.7 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning and continue falling thereafter. - Flood stage is 32.0 feet. |
