3:30 AM CDT Sunday 25 August 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: Coral Harbour Rain, heavy at times is expected. 25 to 50 mm of rain possible Sunday night through Monday. A strengthening low pressure system moving from the Kivalliq mainland into Hudson Bay will spread heavy rain into Coral Harbour on Sunday night. The rain will continue through Monday before easing on Monday night. Accumulations in Coral Harbour are likely to reach 25 to 35 mm, but amounts approaching 45 to 50 mm will be possible near the higher terrain of Southampton Island. In addition to rain, this low pressure system will bring strong northerly winds to the region beginning Monday afternoon that last into midday Tuesday.
