Brief Description Winter Storm Warning
Detailed Description Heavy snow and freezing rain are expected for some communities in the North Slave region tonight and Saturday. Freezing rain is expected tonight and Saturday morning for Whati and Behchoko, as well as along parts of Highway 3. Freezing rain is expected to end by noon. Further north, heavy snow will begin tonight and continue through Saturday. The heaviest snow will be in Gameti, with 10 to 20 cm expected by Sunday morning. Light snow will continue on Sunday before ending Sunday evening. ### Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
