Brief Description Hazardous Seas Warning
Detailed Description * WHAT. For the first Small Craft Advisory, seas 5 to 7 ft at 10 seconds. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous seas 9 to 11 ft at 11 seconds expected, and north winds 20 to 30 kts with gusts to 35 kts. For the second Small Craft Advisory, north winds 25 to 35 kts with a few gusts up to 40 kts, and seas 7 to 10 ft at 11 seconds expected. * WHERE. The first Small Craft will affect all areas. The Hazardous seas warning will affect areas south of Port Orford and out to 60 nm from shore, with the remainder of the area affected by the second Small Craft. * WHEN. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 8 PM PDT this evening. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 11 AM Friday to 5 AM PDT Sunday. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 11 AM Friday to 5 AM PDT Sunday. * IMPACTS. Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or damage vessels.
