Detailed Description Rain, heavy at times is expected. Locations: southern Newfoundland from Connaigre to Avalon Peninsula Southeast. Total rainfall: 25 to 40 mm. Time span: until midnight tonight. ### Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
