Brief Description SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
Detailed Description 4:32 AM PDT Saturday 21 September 2024 Special Weather Statement in effect for: North Coast - coastal sections A series of successive storms are expected to impact BC''s North Coast this weekend and next week. The first system will bring rain to the north coast today and tonight, with near 40 mm of rain expected. From Sunday night to Monday, another system will approach the north coast. There is still uncertainty regarding the location of the highest rainfall accumulation, but current models would indicate that Stewart and possibly Prince Rupert could meet rainfall warning criteria. Please continue to monitor the forecasts for updates. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
