| Detailed Description | Rain, at times heavy, this weekend. What: Rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 millimetres are expected, with up to 50 millimetres possible locally. When: Friday evening through Sunday. Where: Western and Central Quebec. Additional information: The rain will contribute to accelerated snowmelt in areas where snow is still present, as well as a significant increase in the flow and level of some streams and rivers. ### Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
