| Detailed Description | 3:06 PM MDT Friday 26 July 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: R.M. of Wood Buffalo near Fort Chipewyan and Sand Point Rain, heavy at times, and scattered thunderstorms will continue tonight with total rainfall amounts of 70 to 100 mm expected by Saturday. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
