Detailed Description The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas. Trinity River at Riverside affecting Trinity, Polk, Walker and San Jacinto Counties. San Bernard River near Boling affecting Brazoria, Fort Bend and Wharton Counties. San Bernard River near Sweeny affecting Brazoria County. East Fork San Jacinto near New Caney affecting Harris, Montgomery and Liberty Counties. . The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas. Long King Creek near Livingston affecting Polk and San Jacinto Counties. Menard Creek near Rye affecting Polk, Hardin and Liberty Counties. Tres Palacios River near Midfield affecting Wharton and Matagorda Counties. For the Trinity River. including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff. Moderate flooding is forecast. For the Menard Creek. including Rye. Moderate flooding is forecast. For the East Fork San Jacinto River. including New Caney, Cleveland. Moderate flooding is forecast. For the San Bernard River. including Sweeny, East Bernard, Boling. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Menard Creek near Rye. * WHEN. From late tonight to Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS. At 23.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins as low lying areas along the creek are inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 18.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 24.1 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday evening. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 24.1 feet on 03/06/1992. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
