Detailed Description |
* WHAT. Flooding from the Intracoastal Waterway * WHERE. A portion of northeast South Carolina, including the following county, Horry. * WHEN. Until noon EDT Monday. * IMPACTS. At 17 feet. flooding of about three dozen ground level structures on Rosewood Drive, Star Creek Circle, and Recreation Road worsens and about 24 more ground level structures begin to flood. Flooding expands on Rosewood Drive, River Road, Ed Smith Avenue, Creekside Drive, Mill Creek Road, Smith Boulevard, Folly Lane, John Henry Lane, Star Creek Circle, West Oak Circle and Roberta Lane with residences isolated. Zeddie Lane, Renata Lane, and Earls Road begin to flood. Lowest yards along Shem Creek Circle begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1106 AM EDT, The Waterway at Socastee is currently peaking between 16.5 and 16.7 feet.
