Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 853 PM AKDT, the dam operator reported heavy rain in areas near the Ward Lake recreational area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly, especially near Ward Lake. Between 2.25 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are possible. - For Lake Connell Dam: At 8:30pm the stage was 252.5 feet. Flood Stage is 252.0 feet.
