| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Virginia. James River At Richmond Westham affecting City of Richmond, Chesterfield and Henrico Counties. For the Lower James Basin. including Cartersville, Richmond Westham, Richmond Locks. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. James River at Richmond Westham. * WHEN. Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS. At 12.0 feet, Flood stage. Minor flooding along both banks. No damage at this level. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:30 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM EDT Sunday was 12.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.5 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History.
