Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Mississippi. Tombigbee River near Amory For the Tombigbee River. including Fulton, Bigbee, Amory, Aberdeen L & D. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Tombigbee River near Amory. * WHEN. From this morning to early Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 22.0 feet, Lowland near the river is flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 21.1 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday was 21.1 feet. - Forecast. The river will fall below flood stage late this afternoon to 15.2 feet tomorrow evening. It will then rise above flood stage early Thursday afternoon to 21.2 feet Thursday evening. It will fall below flood stage again Friday morning. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
