Brief Description Fire Weather Watch
Detailed Description FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING FOR BREEZY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR ALL THE OK AND TX PANHANDLES. The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a Red Flag Warning for breezy winds and low relative humidity, which is in effect from noon to 8 PM CST Thursday. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch for breezy winds and low relative humidity is in effect from Friday morning through Friday evening. * WINDS. Southwest 20.0 to 30.0 mph with gusts up to 45.0 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY. As low as 8 percent. * IMPACTS. Any fires that develop will have the potential to spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. * SEVERITY. FUELS (ERC). 70th-89th percentile. 4 (out of 5). WEATHER. Elevated. 1 (out of 5). FIRE ENVIRONMENT. 5 (out of 10).
