| Detailed Description | Strong winds that may cause damage are expected. Locations: Pangnirtung, Nunavut. Time span: Late Wednesday evening through to Thursday afternoon. A low pressure system moving towards Baffin Island is expected to bring strong, gusty winds of 90 km/h or higher to the community of Pangnirtung starting late Wednesday evening and continuing into Thursday afternoon. ### Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
