Brief Description Small Craft Advisory
Detailed Description * WHAT. For the first Small Craft Advisory, seas 13 to 18 ft. For the first Gale Warning, southwest winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 12 to 17 ft expected. For the Storm Warning, west winds 40 to 50 kt and seas 20 to 25 ft expected. For the second Gale Warning, west winds 35 to 45 kt and seas 21 to 26 ft expected. For the second Small Craft Advisory, west winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and seas 14 to 19 ft expected. * WHERE. Cape Edgecumbe to Cape Spencer out to 15 NM. * WHEN. For the first Small Craft Advisory, until noon AKST today. For the first Gale Warning, from noon today to 3 PM AKST this afternoon. For the Storm Warning, from 3 PM this afternoon to 6 PM AKST this evening. For the second Gale Warning, from 6 PM this evening to midnight AKST tonight. For the second Small Craft Advisory, from midnight tonight to 7 AM AKST Sunday. * IMPACTS. Storm force winds and hazardous seas will capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
