Brief Description Yellow Warning - Snowfall -
Detailed Description Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected. What: Highly variable snowfall accumulations up to 25 cm of snow Hazards: - Rapidly accumulating snow - Sudden reduction in visibility due to heavy snow When: Now until early this evening Where: Highway 37 - Terrace to Kitimat Highway 16 - Terrace to Kasiks Additional information: An unstable airmass is generating convective flurries that are producing locally heavy flurries across the region. Snowfall accumulations will be highly variable. The threat of convective flurries will subside this evening. ### Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
