Brief Description Wind Warning
Detailed Description Strong winds that may cause damage are expected. Locations: Avalon Peninsula, Bonavista Peninsula, Bonavista North, Bay of Exploits, and Northern Peninsula East. Maximum wind gusts: southeasterly 80 to 100 km/h. Time span: overnight tonight until Wednesday morning. Remarks: The strongest winds are likely to occur along the coast. ### Local utility outages are possible. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
