Brief Description Tropical Storm Warning
Detailed Description * WHAT. Northeast winds 35 to 45 kt with gusts up to 55 kt. Seas 11 to 16 ft and waves in the Chesapeake Bay 5 to 8 feet and up to around 10 ft at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. * WHERE. Atlantic Coastal Waters from Fenwick Island DE to Currituck Beach Light NC, Chesapeake Bay from Smith Point to Cape Henry, including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, James River from Jamestown to the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel, York River, Rappahannock River from Urbanna to Windmill Point, and the Currituck Sound. * WHEN. Through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS. Very strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
