Detailed Description Strong winds that may cause damage are expected. Locations: most of Newfoundland. Maximum wind gusts: westerly 80 to 100 km/h, except 110 along parts of the coast. Time span: Friday night. ### Local utility outages are possible. Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
