Brief Description High Water Level Warning
Detailed Description Higher than normal water levels are expected or occurring. Locations: South Coast from Placentia Bay to Cape Race, especially southwest-facing shorelines. Maximum water levels: exceeding high astronomical tide, with water inundating vulnerable sections of coastline. Maximum wave heights: 3 to 5 metres, breaking upon approach to shore. Time span: this morning. Most significant near high tide. High tide: 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. this morning. ### Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. For more information monitor Canadian Coast Guard radio or Weatheradio stations.
