Detailed Description 4:26 a.m. EDT Thursday 8 June 2023 Smog Warning in effect for: Abitibi High concentrations of fine particulate matter from forest fires in Quebec will give poor air quality in many areas today, tonight and tomorrow. These conditions may persist for a few more days. Smog especially affects asthmatic children and people with respiratory ailments or heart disease. It is therefore recommended that these individuals avoid intense physical activity outdoors until the smog warning is lifted.
