| Detailed Description |
4:37 AM MST Friday 8 December 2023 Snowfall Warning in effect for: Okotoks - High River - Claresholm Snow will continue today. Another 2 to 4 cm is expected, for an event total of 10 to 20 cm. Snow will taper off by this evening. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
