Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana. Haw Creek near Clifford. Buck Creek at Acton. Flatrock River at Saint Paul. . The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana. Clifty Creek at Hartsville. Sugar Creek near Edinburgh. Mill Creek near Cataract. Youngs Creek at Amity. .Total rainfall amounts of 3 to over 5 inches of rain across much of central and southern Indiana is bringing minor to moderate flooding across many fast responding waterways in the area. Additional rainfall over the weekend and next week could bring additional flooding. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Mill Creek near Cataract. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 19.0 feet, Extensive flooding along Mill Creek. Camp Otto, Owen Park and possibly other local roads flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 12:15 PM EST Thursday the stage was 16.8 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:15 PM EST Thursday was 16.9 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.8 feet late this evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
