Detailed Description
* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Portions of east central and south central Missouri, including the following counties, in east central Missouri, Phelps. In south central Missouri, Dent and Texas. * WHEN. Until 745 PM CST. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 146 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Salem, Edgar Springs, Anutt, Lake Spring, Lecoma, Lenox, Howes and Bangert. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
