Brief Description Flood Advisory
Detailed Description * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following counties, Saginaw and Tuscola. * WHEN. Until 400 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1151 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Rainfall amounts so far are estimated at 1.5 to 2.5 inches. Additional rainfall amounts of one half inch to one inch are possible. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Saginaw, Frankenmuth, Caro, Vassar, Cass City, Chesaning, St. Charles, Reese, Akron, Zilwaukee, Fairgrove, Unionville, Gagetown, Oakley, Bridgeport, Marion Springs, Carrollton, Nelson, Swan Creek and Brant. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
