For the Small Craft Advisory, southeast to south winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt this afternoon through tonight, before becoming northwest winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt late Saturday morning; waves 4 to 7 ft expected. For the Gale Watch, northwest winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and waves 7 to 10 ft possible. * WHERE. Eagle River to Manitou Island MI and Manitou Island to Point Isabelle MI. * WHEN. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 1 PM this afternoon to 2 PM EST Saturday. For the Gale Watch, from Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS. Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. |
