| Detailed Description |
The National Weather Service in San Juan has issued a * Special Marine Warning for. Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico AND USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N. * Until 1215 PM AST. * At 1013 AM AST, a cluster of strong thunderstorms located over the Atlantic Waters north of Puerto Rico, Culebra, St. Thomas and St. John was nearly stationary. HAZARD. Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. |
