5:14 AM EDT Wednesday 4 October 2023 Special Weather Statement in effect for: Dryden - Ignace Locally heavy rainfall is expected today. Hazards: Heavy rainfall with local amounts of 20 to 50 mm. Timing: Today, easing this afternoon or evening. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to bring local rainfall amounts of 20 to 50 mm to some areas. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. For information concerning flooding, please consult your local Conservation Authority or Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry office. Visit Ontario.ca/floods for the latest details. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
