Brief Description Flood Advisory
Detailed Description * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Oklahoma, including the following counties, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Pittsburg and Pushmataha. * WHEN. Until 945 AM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 643 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Wilburton. Clayton. Talihina. Quinton. Red Oak. Kinta. Albion. Bengal. Damon. Kiamichi. Yanush. Tuskahoma. Talimena State Park. Robbers Cave State Park. Higgins. Clayton Lake State Park. Whitesboro. Lequire. Nashoba. Panola. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
