Brief Description Orange Warning - Freezing Rain -
Detailed Description A significant period of freezing rain is expected. What: Total freezing rain amounts of 10 to 20 millimetres. The event could last several hours and disrupt some services. When: Wednesday. Additional information: Conditions will remain cold in subsequent days, which may complicate and delay the full return to normal services. Transportation delays are to be expected. ### Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Prolonged utility outages are likely. Significant damage to property, including some buildings and trees, is likely due to the weight of ice. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
