Brief Description High Surf Advisory
Detailed Description * WHAT. Large breaking waves of 8 to 10 feet. * WHERE. North facing reefs of Palau and Yap. * WHEN. Until 5 PM ChST Tuesday. * IMPACTS. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Elevated north to northeast swell, reinforced by a shear line and the remnants of Tropical Depression Nuri north of Yap, remains capable of producing hazardous surf of 8 to 10 feet along north facing reefs. Surf will build further by Sunday, likely reaching at least 12 feet.
